I and am invested in contributing to the vibrancy of Christchurch’s central city. 

Prior to working in hospitality, I completed a master’s degree in psychology and worked in mental health before leaving to raise my three children. During this time, I co-ran the committee for a charity and incorporated society, understanding governance requirements, financial management, and applying for funding. I am halfway through a Master’s of Business Administration which has given me a deeper understanding of the needs of different businesses. 

I love working in teams and am passionate about creating positive change. Having lived in Christchurch all my life, and travelled extensively, enjoying plenty of overseas cities I understand the unique needs of Christchurch alongside the practicalities of working within a limited budget. I have a positive mindset, seeing opportunities and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
